The Huron-Perth Walk to End ALS happened late June in Wingham.
ALS Society of Canada Regional Manager Charlene Spector says it was a good day and they saw strong support.
60% of the funds raised is going to their programs and equipment while the remaining 40% is going to research. Spector says it’s not only those who are dealing with ALS that took part in the walk but people also chose to walk in memory of someone.
