The Summer Employment Transition Program put forth by Community Living Sarnia-Lambton is underway and it offers those aged 16 to 29 with a disability or barrier to employment a job in the workforce.
Area employees are linked up with CLSL members on top of a job coach to work with the students, over a seven-week long stint.
Manager of Community Employment Options Laura Stokely says the program runs full circle.
They offer the same program year round and they’re always looking for willing employers to join in. The summer program began July 8th and runs until The 23rd of August.
