The Huron Chamber of Commerce wants to streamline and modernize the way alcohol sales are done in Ontario. They along with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce released a report detailing how the Province can expand sales of alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner.
Operations Manager for Goderich, Central, and North Huron Mark Woodward says by changing the retail system, it will improve the way alcohol is sold in Ontario.
Woodward says he would especially like the see a more level playing field in regards to distilleries.
He says customers will be able to access more local products and producers will be able to create more jobs as a result.
