Huron County OPP is investigating a break, enter, and theft from a business in Bayfield. Police say the incident took place on August 10 between 1:40 AM and 2:30 AM, when a man forced entry into a gas station and garage located on Main Street.
Once inside the thief stole cash from a lockbox, as well as some candy and a 2011 four-door silver Volkswagen Tiguan. Police say the suspect appears to be in his 20s or 30s with a thin to medium build, and he was wearing a baseball hat, jeans, running shoes and a sweater.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
