The Huron County Alzheimer Society is offering a new program this fall.
The Memory and Aging Program was developed at Baycrest Hospital in Toronto and is all about reviewing practical strategies to improve abilities to remember everyday things.
The program also aims to help people build confidence in memory ability.
Past participants have reported an increase in the use of personal memory strategies, and people have also reported feeling more knowledgeable about lifestyle choices.
The Memory and Aging Program will take place at the Bayfield Library on September 10, 17 and 24th as well as on October.
The cost is $25 per person, and the program runs from 10 AM until noon.
To register contact the Alzheimer Society of Huron County at (519) 482-1482 or 1-800-561-5012 or email: admin@alzheimerhuron.on.ca
