The annual tradition of kids returning to school is fast approaching, and the OPP want you to remember to leave any bad driving habits that may have developed over the summer behind.
OPP constable Chad Murray reminds drivers to obey the speed limit in school zones.
Speeding in school zones carries stricter penalties, and Murray says that officers tend to be less sympathetic when they catch speeders while kids are in area.
Murray also says that we can expect to see a higher police presence around schools for the first few weeks of the school year.
