A strike is not even a reality at this point for local teachers. That’s according to President of the Avon Maitland Elementary Teachers Local, Kent Cleland when asked about rumors of a possible teachers strike.
Cleland says it business as usual for area teachers.
He adds teachers are back in the classrooms where they want to be, and negotiations at the central level are underway.
