Huron County OPP have arrested a pair with drug possession charges following an occurrence that took place in Goderich over the weekend.
At about 6:45 pm Saturday (October 6), officers had reason to check on a motor vehicle that was parked at the Bennett Street apartments, and they then searched the three occupants.
The owner of the vehicle was found to be in possession of a shotgun shell which was a violation of a court ordered prohibition. Officers also found him to be in possession of suspected purple Fentanyl.
A 37 year old from Exeter has been charged with two counts of Possession of Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order, and Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance.
A further search found a passenger in possession of Methylphenidate. A 28 year old from Goderich has been charged with Possession of a Schedule III Substance.
They both have court dates scheduled for November 25th.
