The Liberals secured minority win in last night’s election. This means that the Canadian government will be in a minority government situation for the first time in almost 2 decades.
While the county may be getting a much needed minority government, here locally things stayed relatively the same. Huron-Bruce incumbent Ben Lobb received just under 50% of the vote to earn another term as MP for the area.
Liberal candidate and runner up Allan Thompson says he hopes to continue working to make Huron-Bruce a better place to live and work
Thompson says he’s interested to see what will happen with a minority government
The NDP’s Tony McQuail finished third, Nicholas Wendler and the Green Party fourth and Kevin Klerk and the PPC finished fifth.
