Anthony Li is happy to see the growth the Green Party has shown across Canada. While the local MP candidate only secured 5.9% of the ridings votes Monday (oct 21), he sees a Green Wave coming from here and other parts of the country.
When asked if he continues to pursue politics for the Greens, the med-student said it’s too early to tell, noting when he ran provincially last year he had no intention to run federally this time around.
He also backed Leader Elizabeth May’s work for the party, saying if she steps down or takes a break it will be because she wants to, not because the long-time face of the party is being pushed out.
