The Ontario government is providing more than $15.5 million in funding to municipalities in Huron and Bruce Counties.
MPP for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson made the announcement, and said in a statement ” We listened to our to our municipal partners and respect that they need time to plan their capital and operating budgets, so I am pleased that we are announcing next year’s allocations well ahead of their budget deliberations.”
The funds will be for the 2020 fiscal year.
15 local municipalities are getting funding including South Huron who is getting over $1.3 million.
