Theatre lovers cannot wait for the 2020 Stratford Festival season, namely because they will be introduced to the revamped Tom Patterson Theatre.
It’s been a long time coming, and Festival Publicity Director Ann Swerdfager couldn’t contain her excitement.
She says they kept all the fan favourite things from the old theatre like the intimate personal seating and stage, while adding things like a cafe, multiple lounges and dressing rooms plus much more.
Swerdfager says it looks really incredible and they’re excited to show it off to the public in the new year.
Richard the III is one of the plays which will be performed on the stage, which was the first production the festival ever had shown.
