On Monday (Nov 4) Street2Feet are hosting a Community Forum on Homelessness in South Huron.The group is made up of various members of area churches and life bettering organizations such as food banks and women’s shelters.
Heather Mackechnie with the Exeter United Church says communication is one of the most important steps to addressing the root of housing insecurity.
Andrea Loohuizen with Exeter Pentecostal Church says it’s been a quiet growing unfortunate trend.
Homelessness is a very complex issue which needs to be approached with compassion.
The forum is open to everyone and takes place Monday at 7:00 pm at South Huron Recreation Centre.
