The man who broke the story of the firing of Don Cherry says move was inevitable. Toronto Sun columnist Joe Warmington spoke to myFM about how he first learned that the long time hockey commentator was dismissed by Sportsnet.
Warmington says people were after Cherry even since he first appeared on Coach’s Corner in the 1980s. Many people went on social media to voice their support or disagreement with the legendary broadcaster.
Most that posted a comment on our (Shoreline’s myFM) Facebook page felt the firing was wrong.
