Santa Claus is coming to town for a “Very Sporty Christmas”. That’s the theme for this year’s Parkhill Santa Claus Parade, which is happening this Sunday (Nov 24) starting at 5:30pm.
Anyone is welcome to enter a float, as no registration is required and it’s free to enter! Parade committee member, Carrie Brophey, says prizes will be given out to the best decorated floats.
Brophey adds you can visit the library and town hall after the parade for activities, treats, and to meet Santa Claus!
They will also be collecting cash donations to support next year’s parade, and food donations for the food bank.
