Following a police-involved shooting Tuesday night, South Huron’s Mayor has a message for the community.
Mayor Finch says “South Huron is a still a safe place to live, work and play and this is an isolated incident.”
The Municipality released a statement Wednesday saying no South Huron fire personnel were physically injured during or post response.
The SIU has identified the deceased man as 44-year-old Wade Vandelwal.
