A modern take on Charles Dickens’ classic holiday story is coming to Blyth. A Huron County Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge set in 2019.
Producer, Gil Garratt, goes into detail about what you can expect to see on stage.
Garratt says writing the script allowed for him to make changes and improvements when needed. He said he was able to modify the script to not only cast a blind actor to play Tiny Tim, but to make Tiny Tim blind as well.
No play would be complete without music. Songwriter John Powers wrote 12 numbers for the show!
The play is on now at the Blyth Festival theatre and runs until December 22nd.
