The Municipality of South Huron is letting people know of a water system issue that may have affected a few people. A portion of the South Huron water system in Exeter experience a brief period of low pressure during routine operations on December 3rd.
Staff was notified and corrected the issue within 30 minutes.
Some residents may have noticed air in their home water pipes or discolored water. If you are experiencing these issues the Municipality says you should run your tap for a few minutes until the water runs clear.
The municipality says water supplied by the municipality remains safe to drink as South Huron has one of the best systems in the province.
