A partnership has sprung up between the Hensall Co-op Gas Bar and the Huron County Food Distribution Centre.
Owner Zachary Desjardins says he got together with Martin Behn, the owner of the associated car wash to give back to the community in some way.
Then an idea came to them Desjardins explains.
Desjardins says they teamed up because everyone deserves to have a happy and enjoyable holiday and a lot of people in need do rely on the local food banks.
He said they’re also teaming up once more for an event on Christmas Eve to raise more donations for the food bank.
