Your new Middlesex County Warden is Cathy Burghardt-Jesson. Burghardt-Jesson was sworn in on December 5th and was the only county councilor who accepted a nomination for the position.
myFM spoke with the Lucan-Biddulph mayor following the ceremony and she says she’s excited to get to work.
One of the first things she’d like to tackle is create a Strategic Plan for the county, noting it’s been a few years since the last one was conducted and it would help them with a sense of direction at times where the province makes sudden cuts or changes.
