This week homelessness is being discussed and Campaign co-chair Martin Ritsma says it’s a growing concern.
Ritsma says tent cities are popping up and that’s something they’ve never seen until recently. They have lots of community partners who try and secure short and long-term housing for individuals.
Ritsma says by dialing 2-1-1 you can speak to a person live about you or a family member or friends concerns be it with housing or food insecurity, mental health, or other issues and that person will connect you to a organization that can help.
