It’s been a great 2019 for Bruce Power. The company opened up the Major Component Replacement training centre in Kincardine this past Spring.
They have also secured a number of suppliers including Globotech and Siemens Canada which have opened up offices in the area.
President and CEO Mike Rencheck says momentum has been building over the last three years.
Rencheck says 2020 will begin with work on the refurbishment of Unit 6 and that is expected to be completed by 2023.
He says they will also continue work in developing medical isotopes designed to help in the treatment of cancer, and to clean and sterilize medical equipment.
