myFM continues its Year in Review bringing you comments from various people and organizations about the year that was 2019.
Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton says it was a fantastic year for the province and himself personally. McNaughton started the year as Minister of Infrastructure and is ending it as Minister of Labour Trades and Skills Development.
As for challenges faced and still moving forward, McNaughton says dispelling the stigma around careers in trades is at the forefront.
McNaughton says he will continue that work in 2020 while meeting labour leaders and ensuring a strengthened relationship. He said he’s also looking forward to the bus transit service coming into operation from Sarnia to London with stops in Strathroy and Mount Brydges in the spring.
