If you see snow go slow…that’s the message from the OPP. The primary factors to winter crashes are speeding, and poor driving behaviours.
Always check weather conditions before heading out, give yourself extra travel time, don’t rely on modern technology on vehicles, and use full headlights.
Drivers are also encouraged to have an emergency survival kit with food, blankets, a first aid kit, and a charged cell phone.
