Hydro One is reporting that over 15,000 residents in areas ranging from Grand Bend, Lucan, BlueWater, St,Mary’s and everywhere in between are experiencing power outages this morning.
As of 7:40 am, Hydro One is out investigating the cause of the outage and expects to have some residents power restored before noon.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for Huron and Bruce counties as we can expect 10-15 cm of snow to accumulate on top of Saturday’s Storm.
Residents are asked to limit travel if necessary, close any open windows or doors to preserve heat and keep fridges and freezers as long as possible until power is restored.
