Municipalities in Huron and Bruce Counties are getting some extra government funding.
$8.8 million dollars are going towards 14 area municipalities as part of the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
South Huron will be getting over $688 thousand, Huron East will be getting over $431 thousand, Bluewater will be getting over $286 thousand, while Central Huron will get over $483 thousand in funding.
The OCIF provides stable and predictable funding for communities with under 100 thousand people.
