myFM’s Hooray for Coaches is taking place today and we are profiling Senior Girls Volleyball Coach at South Huron District High School Heather Foran.
Heather says she had some great coaches in high school, and as a teacher, you tend to want to work with students and athletes.
Heather says her challenge is the team is very small with 9 members on a good day, and the girls had to learn new positions and skills.
She says when it comes to coaching skill isn’t everything but if you are interested in coaching its about building relationships with athletes.
