Western University Cameras captured what appeared to be a fireball streaking over Huron county last Thursday (January 23rd).
The cameras are a part of Western’s experimental meteor camera system dispersed throughout Huron county.
Peter Brown, a UWO meteor scientist tweeted that the fireball was likely a meteor and extinguished itself about 33 Kilometres up.
Brown added that the meteor likely landed in Lake Huron.
