Jim Ginn is now the chairman of the Western Warden’s Caucus.
Acclaimed to the one-year position, Ginn says the group tries to address the province on issues they share among the 15 counties in western Ontario.
Ginn pointed to broadband internet expansion as a recent success they’ve had in getting the province moving. He says employee shortages are a big concern up ahead, particularly around long-term care facilities.
He also says they’re hoping to bend the province’s ear on infrastructure funding and transportation.
