The Kineto Theatre Vision 2020 is underway.
Backed behind as always by the Kiwanis Club of Forest, the goal is to overhaul the entire building to construct a safe facility that everyone will be proud of, that will be an economic boost to the downtown and that will continue to be a hub of affordable entertainment and innovative programming.
The price tag of the entire project is a cool $1.1 million, with over $625,000 already pledged through initial grants and donations.
Phase one of two construction is scheduled from now until Mid-may.
Phase Two is set to begin June 1st and be completed by the end of September.
It is expected that most weekend use of the theatre itself can continue throughout the renovation.
