Beginning February 13th and going to the 16th, The 4th annual United Way Perth-Huron “paint the town red” initiative returns to the area.
“paint the town red” goes and is all a part of the United Way’s #unignorable issues campaign, which will see businesses donate a portion of their sales to the United Way campaign.
Martin Ritsma, campaign co-chair says that a big boost will come from scotiabank as well
Ritsma says that so far 95 businesses have pledged to donate sales revenue, 12 of them in Exeter.
He adds that this will keep the momentum going as they try to reach their #unignorbale campaign goal.
So far, the campaign is about 80% complete, with only an extra $300,000 dollars needed to meet their 1.6 million dollar goal.
