A number of roads and bridges in Huron County will need to be repaired or replaced.
The County estimates that many will need attention sometime in the next eight to ten years.
Warden Jim Ginn says that could be a problem as it will cost somewhere between 20 and 30 million dollars to replace one bridge.
Ginn says while municipalities are responsible for two-thirds of the roads and bridges in Canada, they collect roughly 10 percent of the taxes.
He says they are trying to get the attention of both federal and provincial governments to help cover some of the costs.
