A wide-spread partnership is once again offering an opportunity for deserving families assistance.
Back for its second year, the Play it Forward program offers a break to some fees associated with extra-curricular sports, explains Early Years Project Manager Nadine Devin.
Applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis by participating Municipalities. Devin says the partnership contract expires after this year so they’ve yet to determine if this will proceed in 2021.
It wasn’t a big draw last year she notes but mostly because when it launched registration for hockey and soccer had already occured.
The following Municipalities have partnered with the County of Middlesex to offer this program:
• Township of Adelaide Metcalfe
• Township of Lucan-Biddulph
• Municipality of North Middlesex
• Municipality of Middlesex Centre
• Municipality of Strathroy Caradoc
• Municipality of Southwest Middlesex
• Municipality of Thames Centre
• Village of Newbury
