Lianne Rood has gotten her footing in Ottawa as a rookie MP.
The Lambton-Kent-Middlesex representative says she’s even been handed some added responsibilities to support farmers.
The added title also gives her more chances to converse with all levels of people in agriculture and hear their concerns.
She said she’ll continue to relay the needs of the riding to decision makers in Ottawa. Rood said it’s a different feel to be on the MP side of the bench rather than as a staffer as she was previously,
