There is a tool that measures how satisfied small businesses are in Ontario.
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Huron Chamber of Commerce Goderich, Central, and North Huron unveiled their fourth Ontario Economic Report.
In that report, they introduce something called the Small Business Friendliness Indicator which measures how positive or negative small businesses have based on several indicators.
Operations Manager of the Huron Chamber Mark Woodward says this tool indicates that while the outlook is positive around here, it becomes more pessimistic when it reaches outside regional boundaries.
Woodward says small businesses continue to have difficulty finding qualified people.
He says it is usually because a lack of training and the lack of people living here.
