While the media and police may sound like a broken record the number speak for themselves.
So far in 2020, 16 vehicles have been stolen which is up 33 percent from last year.
Half of the stolen vehicles have been pickups, but no one is immune as cross-overs, a mini-van, tractors, a jeep, and a snowmobile have been stolen.
Police say in some cases those we steal the vehicles will then commit further crimes.
Safety tips include: taking keys out of ignitions, never leave valuables in plain sight, and park in well-lit areas.
