The 2020 budget for Lucan-Biddulph has been approved.
Council passed it during their recent council meeting and in it includes a 0% tax rate increase for Township residents.
We’re in trying times, the mayor said. But community growth and the dollars coming from the new assessment played a role in maintaining the status quo on funding Cathy Burghardt-Jesson said.
As for some of the bigger ticketed items included in the budget, she pointed to the roads.
Burghardt-Jesson admits she wasn’t as hands on in the budget preparation as she has in years past with her new role as Middlesex County warden, but said she was very proud of the work done by everyone who collaborated.
