The Huron County OPP Auxiliary Unit is looking for new Auxiliary Constables.
Anyone who is at least 18 years of age, possesses a Class “G” driver’s license with no more than 6 demerit points, has a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, is certified in Standard First Aid and CPR and must not have any criminal record.
As a member of the Auxiliary Unit, you will assist in the delivery of traffic safety and community-based crime prevention.
Tasks that Auxiliary Unit members face include Community Policing, Patrol, OPP special events, Crime Prevention Initiatives, Public Service and Community Events.
Applicants for the Auxiliary Constable position also must successfully complete a seven-day Auxiliary Recruit Training Course.
