The Provincial Government is looking to protect wildlife.
The government is investing $4 million which is going towards 85 projects to help species at risk.
Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks Jeff Yurek says all the money goes to local groups making a difference.
Yurek told myFM that he is hoping to increase the budget to $4.5 million for next year.
