The municipality of South Huron continues their work on preparing themselves in a number of different avenues for the impacts of climate change.
Climate Change Officer Stacey Jeffery provided an update to myFM on where they currently sit in the process.
They’ve identified impacts on the municipality due to climate change, and are working towards mitigating the risks and damages from floods and storms, planning for climate change making an impact while creating infrastructure, and ensuring community readiness for extreme weathers.
