Ontario Premier Doug Ford has declared a state of emergency across the province.
Ford says this wasn’t an easy choice.
The Premier says gatherings with more than 50 people are now prohibited.
Ford says part of this is the implementation of an emergency relief plan.
Effective immediately, all public libraries, private schools, licensed child daycares, theatres, cinemas and other public venues in the province must close.
