A second laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19 has hit the area.
Medical Officer of Health for Huron Perth, Dr. Miriam Klassen provides the details.
myFM did confirm that the woman is from St. Marys.
Dr. Klassen said during a news conference on Wednesday, that the condition of the first confirmed local case, has been updated to critical condition.
HPPH did confirm that staff is conducting thorough contact tracing related to this confirmed case
COVID-19 is spread mainly from person to person through close contact such as in households or healthcare centres.
Dr. Klassen offered some tips for self-isolation for family members living with someone affected by COVID-19.

· Stay home when you are sick
