myFM brought you 2 news conferences today, one from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the other from Premier Doug Ford.
The Prime Minister says there is nothing the government won’t do to protect Canadians.
He highlighted the government’s $82 billion dollar plan which was announced on Wednesday.
Trudeau also provided some insight into when the Canada US Border will be officially closed.
The Prime Minister said everything will be ready last Friday night or early Saturday morning, and Canadians should come home.

Premier Ford meanwhile was joined by Provincial Ministers during his press conference including Health Minister Christine Elliott.
Elliot says there are lots of pressures on the healthcare system, and they are looking at increasing the number of beds, as well as ventilators.
Elliot also confirmed that the province is seeing community spread of COVID-19.
Premier Ford meanwhile announced that the government is doing away with noise by-laws which will allow businesses to get orders to stock shelves 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
All eviction notices are on hold as well according to the Premier.
Ford also announced the suspension of licence plate, sticker, and health card renewals to help cut down on the spread of COVID-19.
