The Middlesex London Health Unit is urging people to remain calm as COVID-19 rips through the world.
Associate Medical Officer of Health Dr. Alex Summers says while news and updates come at a fierce pace, the one thing you should be constantly doing, is looking after yourself.
That means washing your hands, practicing social distancing, staying home if you’re sick and avoiding crowds.
Summers said it’s an understandable reaction for those who have panic shopped and bought out supplies out of fear, however it’s crucial to remain calm and leave stuff for others. That includes avoiding the ER if you are showing minimal symptoms and aren’t considered vulnerable to the disease.
