myFM has learned that the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario and the Province have reached a new tentative agreement.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce said in a statement “Our Government is pleased to announce a tentative agreement has been reached between the Crown, ETFO teachers and education workers, and the school board trustees’ associations.
Details of the agreement have not been released.
ETFO said in a release that they will review details of its tentative central agreements and ratification votes will take place next week.
The statement added that members will be suspending strike action pending the results of central ratification votes.
