The province has announced that they will open select child care centres in order to help front line workers.
The provincial government will exempt certain child care centres in order to make sure workers in the health care system and first responders have access to safe and local emergency care.
Minister of health, Christine Elliott says “we need to help our nurses, doctors and front line care workers be able to focus on protecting the health and well-being of all Ontarians.”
The province says that all child care centres will follow the necessary health and safety requirements and will have a plan in place should anyone be exposed to the virus.http://ontario.ca/coronavirus.
