A staff member at a long-term care home in Lambton has tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee stopped working as soon as symptoms started to appear, and the Lambton Public Health has declared an outbreak at Lambton Meadowview Villa as a result.
Lambton Public Health will trace anyone who came in close contact with the employee, and will contact those individuals to provide guidance.
Lambton Meadowview Villa has been restricting any visitors since March 13th, and has been screening all staff members upon entrance of the Home since March 9th.
