The main street revitalization project in Seaforth has been deemed an essential project.
Phase two of the project began on April 20th.
Construction will take place from Crombie Street to Main Street proceeding north to the traffic lights. The first stage will take place between Crombie Street to George Street, and then the project will go from George Street to Market Street.
The project will see the installation of watermains, storm sewers, sidewalks, curbs, street light poles, and road replacement.
A detour is in place from Highway 8 south onto Jarvis Street to Station Street back to Main Street.
