Testing for COVID-19 across Ontario has increased significantly and Premier Doug Ford says we’re getting closer to being able to open parks and retail businesses for curbside pick-up. Ford says increased testing is important to start gradually reopen the economy and get people back to work.
Ford says we’re exceeding the daily target of 16,000 tests a day with many aimed at protecting long-term care residents and staff. Upwards of 342,000 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Ontario, including over 1600 in Huron Perth.
