Ontario Premier Doug Ford says more businesses can re-open in the province this weekend. Ford says as of Friday (May 8th) garden centres can re-open and as of Saturday (May 9th) hardware centres and safety supply stores can re-open as long as they follow strict health and safety guidelines.
Ford says on Monday (May 11th), retail stores can provide curbside pickup. More essential construction has also been added to the list. Ford says the same workplace safety requirements that apply to grocery stores and pharmacies will apply to these workplaces that can now re-open.
